The Faithful Follower of the Year award is a unique recognition celebrating individuals who demonstrate unwavering faithfulness to God in their service, regardless of worldly success, numbers, or acclaim—focusing instead on quiet devotion and faithful service. Nominations are open for anyone exemplifying this in their calling. Help us recognize Faithful Followers of Christ and we will choose a Faithful Follower of the Year who will receive a fully paid biblical vacation and tour.*

A Reflection on True Success

At a recent national event, I witnessed an extraordinary woman being honored for her remarkable achievements. She had enabled tens of thousands of India's poorest children to receive an education while introducing them to Christ. Her impact was profound, and I joined the standing ovation, celebrating God's blessings on her work.

In that moment, my eyes were opened to the countless others who serve Christ faithfully but go unrecognized because their efforts don't yield "success" in numbers or acclaim. In my home church, for instance, there was a woman who sent handwritten birthday and anniversary cards adorned with Christian stickers to everyone in the congregation. My six children received them year after year, a quiet testament to her devotion. She was faithful to what God had entrusted her.

I also cherish the memory of an older couple who chose to sleep on the church floor along with thirty local children allowing them to attend the five-day "camp" for just $35. The children enjoyed hikes, feeding horses, simple games, bologna sandwiches, and lessons about God. That couple exemplified faithfulness in their calling.

We all know people like this—individuals who pursue God's will not for worldly recognition, but because true success lies in faithfulness to Him. To honor this truth and celebrate God's value of the heart over achievements, we're launching the "Faithful Follower of the Year" award. Unlike traditional awards focused on accomplishments or metrics, this one celebrates simple faithfulness. We're inviting nominations for those who embody this in any area of service. All fully nominated individuals will be recognized, and our board will select one winner (plus a guest of their choice) for a fully paid biblical tour to Israel or Greece.* A compassionate travel agent will customize a trip for rest, restoration, and enjoyment of God's goodness—no strings attached, just a heartfelt "thank you" for inspiring us onto the road of real success.

Nomination Process

It's straightforward: Three different unrelated people must submit individual nominations for the same person using our nomination form by 12/31/2025. Gather with friends, discuss who exemplifies faithful service, and each complete the form separately. That's it—no cost, no catch.

Our board will review submissions, select a few finalists, verify references, and choose the Faithful Follower of the Year. The winner will be announced in April of 2026. We're thrilled to discover stories of success in God's economy: lives marked by faithfulness.

No. There is no cost to nominees or nominators and we are not collecting the information for marketing purposes. We will not put the contact information you provide on any lists though we will email congratulations to those fully nominated and will contact references for finalists. The prizes will be paid for by Heritage House '76. Our goal is to provide an amazing experience for a faithful follower.

Not really, though a connection would be helpful. We are looking for a faithful follower of God. Whatever that looks like, however it is being exercised, we want that type of person nominated. They must be following Christ in their lives and we are excited to see the stories.

We are asking that each qualifying nominee has three nominations. This is to allow us to ensure that we are receiving nominations of people widely seen to be faithful followers.

Success in God's eyes is faithfulness. We aren't looking for someone who runs massive organizations or raised millions of dollars. These are good things and we are very happy that these type of people are on our side; but we truly want to recognize those who are quietly faithful.

*Terms and Conditions

Sponsor: This contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Heritage House '76, Inc, located at 919 S Main St, Snowflake AZ 85937 (the "Sponsor"). By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of nomination submission. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and any entities involved in the administration of the Contest are not eligible to nominate or be nominated. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

Contest Period: Nominations must be submitted between August 9, 2025 and December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST (the "Contest Period"). Nominations received outside the Contest Period will not be considered.

How to Enter: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry is free. To nominate an individual (the "Nominee"), three (3) different unrelated individuals must each submit a separate nomination form for the same Nominee via the provided nomination form during the Contest Period. "Unrelated" means the nominators must not be immediate family members or reside in the same household. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent nominations will be disqualified. Limit one (1) nomination per person. Automated or bulk entries are prohibited and will result in disqualification of all nominations.

Nominee Requirements: Nominees must be individuals who exemplify faithful service as described in the Contest announcement. Nominees must be at least 18 years old.

Selection Process: All eligible nominations will be reviewed by the Sponsor and the top nominations (solely decided by the sponsor) will be forwarded to the Sponsor's board (the "Board") which consists of members chosen by the Sponsor. The Board will select the final winner based on the criteria of faithfulness in service, as determined in the Board's sole discretion. Finalist's references will be contacted for verification. One (1) winner will be selected from the finalists by the Board. The winner will be announced in April 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible nominations received. All decisions of the Board are final and not subject to appeal.

Prize: One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of a fully paid biblical tour for the winner and one (1) guest of their choice. The tour will ideally be to Israel or Greece but may be customized by a travel agent to best suit the winner's situation, focusing on rest, restoration, and enjoyment. Approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize is $5,000–$10,000, depending on destination and customization; actual value may vary. Prize includes airfare, accommodations, some meals, and guided activities as determined by the Sponsor. Travel must be completed within one (1) year of notification, subject to availability and blackout dates. Winner and guest must have valid passports and comply with all travel requirements, including visas, health certifications, or other health protocols. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. No substitutions except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for all taxes, fees, gratuities, insurance, and any other expenses not expressly included in the prize description.

Winner Notification: Potential winner will be notified via email or phone within 30 days of selection. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, fails to provide required documentation (including a publicity release), or is found ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected. All recognized nominees (those with at least three valid nominations) will receive public acknowledgment, but only the selected winner receives the prize.

Publicity Release: By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, story, and nomination details for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Liability Release and Indemnification: By participating, entrants and nominees agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, agents, and any third parties involved (including travel providers) from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to participation in the Contest, acceptance/use/misuse of the prize, or travel-related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, or any issues arising from trip cancellation, delays, or force majeure events (e.g., acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, or natural disasters). Participants assume all risks associated with travel.

Taxes: Winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes on the prize value. The Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the prize ARV.

Privacy: Personal information collected during the Contest will be used solely for administration purposes and in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary for prize fulfillment or as required by law.

General Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs its integrity, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to interpret these terms and conditions and to act as the final arbiter in all matters related to the Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, the selection of finalists and the winner, and the administration of the prize. Such interpretations and decisions shall be final and binding on all participants and not subject to challenge, appeal, or any legal avenues of resolution, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law: The Contest is governed by the laws of Navajo County in Arizona in the United States], without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Arizona.

No Endorsement: This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any travel providers, airlines, or third-party entities unless explicitly stated.
